Press center
Are you visiting Folkemødet and producing editorial coverage? Journalists, photographers and communication staff can be accredited to Folkemødet's press center located near the main stage. In the press center you'll find workspaces, Wi-Fi, water and coffee. There is a limited number of seats in the press center, so you can experience periods where we can't accomodate all guests.
Contact Pelle Nybirk, Head of Communications for further information and to gain accreditation.
Learn more about Folkemødet
Since the first Folkemøde in 2011, Folkemødet has been one of the most important democratic events in Denmark.
Folkemødet is a Danish festival for democracy and dialogue, co-created by the association behind Folkemødet, Foreningen Folkemødet, and more than 1,200 organizations, parties, companies etc. participating in Folkemødet.
Each year, the program offers over 3,000 exciting events and attracts up to 65,000 visitors during the four-day festival in June. Folkemødet is a unique platform for open debate where decision-makers meet citizens.
There's no entry-fee at Folkemødet, and all of the events - of which most are in Danish - are free to participate in.
