At Folkemødet we strengthen the danish democracy and during the three days we care about each other and increase the understanding among us.

Folkemødet are created in co-operation with political parties, grass roots and different associations and companies. 
Everyone contribute with interesting debates, presentations, cultural events, speeches, workshops and much more. 
At Folkemødet we find the solutions to the challenges of our joint society and get inspired by each other. 

Folketmødet is a physical setting and a gathering point. It is a democratic ambition. 
Folkemødet is the biggest democratic event in Denmark. It is conversation, participation and community.

Folkemødet is always held in week 24 in Allinge on Bornholm.

Most events are in danish, but you can find events in english as well for example at The International Arena (A5).
