The Folkemøde campsites
The association behind Folkemødet, Foreningen Folkemødet, hosts different campsites during the festival: A campsite especially for young participants and the "Folkecamp" ("People's campsite") with no age restrictions.
Ungdomscampen ("the youth campsite") is a campsite dedicated to participants under the age of 25. The camp has space for about 3,000 guests, toilets and bathing facilities and a large communal tent where you can buy breakfast and dinner. It is free to stay at this camp, and all you have to do is bring your own tent and sleeping bags.
Folkecampen is Folkemødet's own campsite located near the festival grounds. Here you can rent tenthouses for the entire festival. A tenthouse is a small tent raised above the ground and includes:
- A double mattress (135 × 200)
- Room for luggage to be kept dry and safe
- Built-in power so you can charge your phone
- Lockable safety box
Remember to bring bedding, pillows and duvets.
